Ken Shibusawa founded Shibusawa & Company in 2001, and is also founding member and chairman of Commons Asset Management, a “non-affiliated” Japanese mutual fund company dedicated to delivering long-term investment opportunities to Japanese households. He has extensive market experience at top-tier US investment banks and a premier global hedge fund.
In addition, he serves as an outside board member for both public and private companies. His non-profit associations include: Vice Chairman of Health Policy Institute, Japan, The Shibusawa Ei’ichi Memorial Foundation, Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives), Japan Center for International Exchange, and the Institute of Health Outcomes & Process Evaluation Research, among others.
