Our study session "Blair's Reforms and After" took place on August 20, 2008 at the Toshi Center Hotel. Healthcare reform started under the Blair administration was meant to relieve public frustration over healthcare, which had built up under the Thatcher administration. Amid mounting public concern over health policy in Japan, about 200 people participated in the study session
